Materials
Our bags are crafted from repurposed materials such as truck tarp rests, billboard vinyls, car airbags, car security belts, sailboat sails, and other salvaged materials, minimizing waste and conserving resources. Join us in our commitment to eco-friendly practices and make a positive impact on the environment with our unique and sustainable bags.
1. Truck Tarp Rests: At Loading Bag Design, we believe in giving materials a second chance.
That's why we use durable and weatherproof truck tarp rests as one of our primary materials.
These tarpaulins, which were once used to cover the cargo area of trucks, are repurposed into unique and stylish bags that are not only functional but also environmentally friendly. By upcycling truck tarp rests, we are contributing to the circular economy by reducing waste and promoting resource efficiency.
2. Used Billboard Vinyls: Our bags also feature repurposed billboard vinyls, giving these materials a new lease on life. Billboard vinyls are large and durable sheets of material that were once used for outdoor advertising. By utilizing used billboard vinyls, we are diverting them from the waste stream and reducing the demand for new materials. This aligns with our commitment to
sustainability and circular economy principles, as we aim to make the most of available resources and minimize environmental impact.
3. Car Airbags: Another unique material we use in our bags is repurposed car airbags. These safety devices, which are designed to protect passengers during vehicle accidents, are often discarded once they are no longer functional. At Loading Bag Design, we believe in giving them a second chance by repurposing them into our bags. This not only prevents them from becoming waste but also promotes the principles of the circular economy by extending the lifespan of these materials and reducing the need for new materials to be produced.
4. Car Seat Belts: We also utilize repurposed car security belts, also known as seat belts, in our bag designs. These belts are made from durable materials and are designed to provide safety and restraint for vehicle occupants. By upcycling used car security belts, we are contributing to the circular economy by reducing waste and promoting resource efficiency. These belts add a unique and sustainable touch to our bags, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
5. Sailboat Sails: Our bags also feature repurposed sailboat sails, which are made from durable and weather-resistant materials. Sailboat sails are typically discarded once they are no longer usable for sailing, but at Loading Bag Design, we give them a new purpose by incorporating them into our bag designs. This not only prevents them from becoming waste but also adds a unique nautical touch to our bags, making them truly one-of-a-kind.
6. Other Repurposed Materials: In addition to the materials mentioned above, we also use various other repurposed materials in our bag designs. These may include materials such as industrial fabric scraps, upcycled leather, or salvaged hardware. By repurposing these materials, we are reducing waste and promoting the principles of the circular economy by giving them a new life and purpose.
